The infidels ridicule and ask when the Day of Judgement they are being warned so much about will be. They hold different opinions. Some ask why it does not come about for those already dead. The others assert that nothing of the sort will ever happen. Yet all of them will come to know, for it shall sweep away all doubts. The Absolute Ruler created the earth with infinite qualities, and made it as comfortable as a warm bed and the source of all provisions of life. Then He^-SWT pegged it with mountains rich in minerals and decorated it with valleys fraught with fruit trees, jungles alive with wild life and peaks capped with snow. And then He^-SWT created mankind in pairs to exquisitely colour the canvas of life and to sustain human race.

 

Sleep

---

He made sleep a way for you to unwind after a day's labour. It is a wonderful thing; whereafter a person gets up fresh, ready to face the errands of a new day. The kings and the paupers benefit from it alike. Ask those of its merit, who seek it through pills. The Omnipotent created night to provide a peaceful environment for sleep, for mankind and beasts alike. Then after a reasonable interval, a new day rises to end the night, for if sleep exceeds reasonable limits, all business of life shall stand suspended. The day brings along the right conditions to undertake worldly chores.

 

He^-SWT built seven heavens to provide ceiling to the earth and placed in between a lamp luminous, the sun that rises and sets to sustain the whole infrastructure of life. Clouds are formed to pour down whereby the grain and the greenery grow, and the orchards yield diverse fruits.

 

The Sun

The whole system is balanced so immaculately that even an infinitesimal change in the equilibrium between earth and sun would disrupt it. In the same way, the Holy Prophet^-SW has been similized with the sun, that every heart should have a bond with him like earth is bonded to the sun. This bond should be strong enough to receive appropriate degree of Barakah, like the earth receives the proper amount of heat from the sun and the clouds are formed to pour down. Like earth is laden with fruits due to rain, the rain of his^-SW Barakah should fill the Qalb with spiritual feelings. The same strong relationship must exist between a seeker and the Accomplished Shaikh. A decline shall upset the balance calling for quick penitence and treatment. This whole system itself demands that a Day of Judgement must be and for sure, it has been determined. When the Trumpet is blown and mankind flocks together, the heavens will be split to form numerous openings, and mountains will be quashed to dust. And the Hell and its angels wait in ambush for the transgressors, who trespassed the limits of duties and rights defined by the Prophets^-A8. They would be locked in Hell for many a Haqabah.

 

Haqabah

Haqabah is an extremely long period of time extending over millions of years. According to some scholars, these would be the believers who had not taken to the Islamic Code of life. They would only be freed after seething in Hell for millions of years. According to Hadith those Muslims who would be sent to Hell because of sins will only be taken out after staying in it for many a Haqabah; Hadhrat Ali^-RAU defines Haqabah as equal to twenty eight million and eight hundred thousand years. Whatever this period may be, it will ultimately end whereas the disbelievers will abide in the Hell. Another school of scholars hold that this Ayah pertains to the infidels. Their stay in Hell will never end and one Haqabah will be followed by another. There will be no concept of any pleasantness in Hell. No such drink will be served that may dampen the heat. Rather, the Hell-bound will get boiling water to drink so hot that it will welter away the skin from their faces. Once swallowed, it will melt away the intestines. Thus, will their crimes be fully requited.

 

Requital Depends on Conduct

Requital will be of the same kind as the conduct. The infidels rejected the Code of Life given by Islam and opted for the path of denial, which caused multitudes to end up and burn in Hell. They deserve now to have puss and blood dripping from their wounds as food. They had never thought of reckoning, the Doomsday and the Akhirah and outrightly rejected Allah^-SWT's Signs and the System He^-SWT gave. It swept away others in the same tide. They will be satirically told to have a good time, and hope for the torment to increase with each passing moment, just as their evilness and denial would have kept increasing had they still been in the world.
